January 17th CASC Meeting New Hire Tips

On January 17th the Capital Area Safety Council held it's first meeting of 2018. Michael Taylor from AECOM led a discussion exchanging tips and procedures for new hire onboarding and safety training. Many of our attendees shared examples such as reward systems, job safety observations and testing that they utilize in the onboarding and early phases of employment. Michael was kind enough to share his new hire orientation checklist and mentor programs which I have posted on our links & info page.
